About the Artist: Constance grew up in rural northern Michigan where nature and wildlife were a significant part of her upbringing. While her career path led her to various parts of the United States, exploring the wilderness was always a priority. Shortly after moving to Miami in 1997, Constance began exploring the national parks (Biscayne and Everglades) of south Florida and experiencing their amazing wildlife by way of canoe. As the canoe was essential to her wilderness explorations, the camera soon followed. What began as a simple way to record her canoe trips soon grew into a passion. For almost 15 years, the camera has provided Constance the means to combine her love of art with her love of nature.
