Everglades Restoration

August 2015 – The benefits of Everglades restoration may begin to reach Everglades National Park this summer as South Florida water managers tweak the region’s network of canals and pumps to put more water into the park’s northeast Shark River Slough. Project managers say the initial changes, timed to coincide with this year’s rainy season, should deliver small but critically
important hydrological   benefits to the park.
