SFNPT Approves $190,000 in New Grants for South Florida's National Parks
MIAMI (October 6, 2014) The South Florida National Parks Trust has approved $190,000 in new grant funding to restore native habitat, protect wildlife, and support visitor programs in South Florida's national parks. The new funding will create native habitat on an island in Biscayne Bay, restore the flow of fresh water into the Turner River, protect nesting sea turtles in the Dry Tortugas and support visitor and volunteer programs in Everglades National Park. “Heart Your Park” at Macy’s Raises Money to Help Sea Turtles in Biscayne National Park

MIAMI (April 3, 2012) – Pescanova USA, one of the largest seafood companies in the United States, presented a $100,000 check today to the South Florida National Parks
Trust to benefit South Florida’s national parks. The $100,000 donation will be applied over three years to support programs and projects in South Florida’s four national parks, including Biscayne National Park, the largest marine park in the national park system. Read more »
