The Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center

There’s a new destination in the Big Cypress National Preserve for folks who want to explore the "Western Everglades." The Big Cypress National Preserve has opened a $2.2 million visitor center on U.S. 41 (Tamiami Trail) between Miami and Naples, Florida, with exhibits on the history, hydrology, wildlife and ecology of the Big Cypress Swamp.
